Lango recognized as "The best producer – distributor of 2008" in Latvia

On the 10th of June this year Andrejs Fraimanis, the chairman of the board of Lango Ltd., received the mark of distinction „The best producer – distributor of 2008”. This mark of distinction, established by the Latvian Traders Association, was granted at the solemn ceremony in the Ministry of Economics.

„This distinction is the evaluation of our work, implemented strategy and our products. With this award we receive recognition and positive emotions from our customers who have appreciated the taste and high quality of Lango products. It is also recognition from our co-operation partners and it proves that we are able to find a solution to any situation and purposefully move forward. We are honored and say many thanks to the Latvian Traders Association, traders and our everyday consumers for this high evaluation. This award allows not only look back and evaluate the work done but also move forward in the future”, avers the chairman of the board of Lango Ltd. Andrejs Fraimanis.

Founded in 1992 by local businessmen Lango is a leading producer of prepared and instant food products. Due to investments of 2.5 million lats the enterprise has established a new production unit, pursuant to legislation and European Union's standards, and introduced innovative technologies which allow extending the realization term of products without adding harmful for health preservatives. The enterprise produces salads, pancakes and sandwiches. One the 17th of June 2008 the subsidiary company UAB Lango LT was founded and active adopting of the Lithuanian market was started with the aim of the first year to reach turnover of 1.4 million euro.
