Lango creates a new product group for young people

By September of this year the leading producer of prepared and instant food products „Lango” Ltd. begins to offer a new product group for young people with brand - Get &Go sandwich.

Get &Go sandwich group is characterized by the shape different from Classical sandwich, nourishing and rich filling and the price available for the younger public. The added value of this group of sandwiches is the opportunity to eat it cold or to warm up and enjoy it hot – taste of the sandwich will only benefit. In total this group of sandwiches offer four tastes – baguette, filled with meat balls in chilli sauce, baguette with sausage in cucumber – mustard sauce, hamburger with chicken cutlet in French mustard and the triple sandwich with salami, cheese and tomatoes.

“This product group is created within the framework of the company's long-term strategy to conquer a new market segment – active youth aged from 15 to 18 years. The integral part of their life is prepared and instant food products – they save time efficiently while providing a delicious and rich meal. In order to explore the preferences and needs of potential customer of Get &Go products, in collaboration with students of Riga Food Manufacturers School – future cooks, the task group were made, and tastes of these products and the design and functionality of the packaging were developed,” explains the Chairman of the Board of „ Lango” Ltd. Andrejs Fraimanis.

Founded in 1992 by local businessmen Lango is a leading producer of prepared and instant food products. Due to investments of 2.5 million lats the enterprise has established a new production unit, pursuant to legislation and European Union's standards, and introduced innovative technologies which allow extending the realization term of products without adding harmful for health preservatives. The enterprise produces salads, pancakes and sandwiches. One the 17th of June 2008 the subsidiary company UAB Lango LT was founded and active adopting of the Lithuanian market was started with the aim of the first year to reach turnover of 1.4 million euro.
