Food producer Ltd “LANGO” signs the cost-sharing agreement with “Hansabanka” for the construction of a new factory

This year on June 14 in the main office of JSC "Hansabanka" the bank and Ltd “LANGO” signed the cost-sharing agreement for the sum of 1,6 mill. lats for the new factory construction, the project of which will cost 2,11 million lats.
On June 14, 2005 at 10:00 Ltd “LANGO”, the leading cooked products, or prepared and instant food producer, and “Hansabanka” signed the agreement on the financing of equipment purchase and new factory construction, which will be the first one in Latvia in the segment of prepared and instant food segment. Total project costs make 2.1 million lats.
“LANGO” in cooperation with German architect and engineering bureau “Concepta” GMBH has already designed the technological project in concordance with all directives of the European Union.
The general contractor of the factory will be RRB.
“The main principle of RRB work is quality that it successfully proved in its past projects. As Ltd “LANGO” wanted to gain high quality also at the construction object, this cooperation was begun successfully by planning and designing the building pursuant to all quality standards of the EU”, says RRB Board member Uldis Krauja.
The new factory of Ltd “LANGO” will be situated in an industrial area – 6 Sturainu Str., Stopinu region, Riga district.
The chairman of the Board of Ltd “LANGO” A. Fraimanis says: “The contract will help to continue the initiated development of "LANGO". By constructing such production unit and investing in new technologies, “LANGO” will enhance competitiveness, and the consumer will gain safe and harmless product that conforms all standards and directives of the EU.”
The construction of new production unit will help to enlarge production capacity, improve products quality, extend the assortment and production output, which will secure the enterprise leadership in the market. Ltd “LANGO”, founded in 1992, produces instant and ready-to-use food products, and is a leader in its sphere of business. Financial data of Ltd “LANGO” characterise the enterprise development and principles. The growth of the enterprise turnover in comparison with the previous year in 2002 - 20%, 2003 - 32%, 2004 – 25% and in 2005 it is supposed to be 30%.
Ltd “LANGO” products are supplied to consumers all around Latvia. The major clients of Ltd “LANGO” are Rimi, Stockman, Elvi, Nelda, SKY, IKI, Narvesen, Statoil, and etc.
