Lango continues to raise the turnover

The turnover of the prepared and instant food producer Lango in 2005 reached 1,3 million lats, which is by 47% higher than that in the preceding year.

The enterprise administration explains the rapid rise by the goal-seeking work and investments in long-term development of the enterprise. “We constantly think about the development of our range of products. In 2005 we began to offer a new product group – flaky sandwiches that provided 10% of the total increase of the enterprise turnover. Additionally, we invested in new technologies; thus, we ensured the production profitability, which consequently, has facilitated the enterprise development. This year the enterprise plans to continue to develop and reach the turnover of 2 million lats”, points out Ltd Lango Board chairman Andrejs Fraimanis.

In 2005 Lango started the construction of a new production unit in Stopinu region, which costs 2,1 million lats, and plans to complete it by this May. To improve the production process, last year Lango invested 70.000 Euro in modern equipment for salads production and filling. New production line, which is installed and already operates, is pursuant to food production requirements, set in legislation of the Republic of Latvia, and regulations of the European Union.
