Ltd “LANGO” laid the cornerstone of prepared and instant food production unit

This year on September 16 Ltd “LANGO” laid the cornerstone of its new food production unit in 6 Sturainu Str., Rumbula, Stopinu region.

On September 16, 2005 three months after signing the contract about the financing with Hansabanka, Ltd “LANGO” laid the cornerstone of the new prepared and instant food production unit, which will be the first one of such kind in this market segment in Latvia, and is planned to be completed in May, 2006.

Construction works are carried out according to the developed work plan. The ground has already been constructed, and metal constructions installed, floorings between the 1st and the 2nd floor have been embedded in concrete, and the mounting of wall panels and the roof is started. In the nearest future, there is planned to mount windows and doors, and design a heating system.

The general contractor of the production unit is RRB (Ltd “Riga’s Restoration Bureau”) that has already carried out construction and restoration works almost on 400 objects.  

The total costs of the project make 2.11 million lats, including 1,6 million lats that are financed by JSC Hansabanka, while the other part of funds is invested by the enterprise and its owners.

By creating a new production unit, the enterprise plans to enable both, the existing assortment extension and a new products group introduction, to secure the enterprise position in the market as well as to expand this position, and introduce HACCP system.
