2006 – the year of success for Ltd Lango

2006 – The year of success for Lango. Due to goal-seeking work during this period, the goals set have been gained and significant results have been obtained.  A confirmation of this is a beginning of operation a new production unit of the enterprise, production process refinement by using innovative technologies and equipment, and the rise of turnover, explains the Board chairman Andrejs Fraimanis.

Last year the enterprise turnover reached 1,87 million lats, which is by 41% higher than that of the preceding year. The most rapid rise of the turnover was experienced within the second half-year when the operation of a new production unit began, which allowed enlarging considerably production capacity.

In May, 2006 the enterprise started operation at a new production unit in Stopinu region that was built in concordance with Latvian legislation and European Union standards. Total project costs make LVL 2,3 millions.

As the enterprise Board chairman Andrejs Fraimanis says, with active and purposeful work in 2007 it is planned to start exporting to the Baltic States. Considering wishes of consumers, the product groups still will be developed to create new products “Fresh salads” in classical product group. This year the production output has been increased by 55%.
