In the first quarter Lango experienced a 46% rise of the turnover

In the first quarter of this year the producer of prepared and instant food products Ltd Lango reached the turnover of 573.966 thousand lats, which is by 46% higher than that of the corresponding period last year. These results have been achieved by working out the product group of hot sandwiches in cooperation with clients, and introducing a new Everyday product group.
In 2007 the enterprise is developing a hot sandwiches group in cooperation with fuel filling stations, press and small-scale chain stores; as well as it has formed Everyday product group that is more available and has more attractive price for consumers.
The chairman of the Board of Lango Andrejs Fraimanis points out that these results represent the approval of the enterprise goal-seeking work and consumers' wish to get even more qualitative and tasty products from well-known and acknowledged Latvian producer. In 2007 Lango plans to reach the turnover of 3 million lats in the Latvian market in 2007; thus, rising the turnover by 55%.
The enterprise continue appropriately realise strategic goals of the 2007, and at the moment there are active preparation works in order to start exporting to Estonia and Lithuania this year.
