Nomination “Year Product 2006” is won by two products Lango

Produced by the Ltd Lango products – classical pancakes with meat and a classical sandwich with chicken – have won the award “Year Product 2006”, established by Latvian Traders Association, which has been granted at the formal event in Latvian Society House this year on the 9th of May.
The chairman of the Board of Ltd Lango Andrejs Fraimanis declares: “This award is an approval of our products quality, and proves that it is appreciated also by our consumers. This recognition is also an evaluation of successful cooperation with our partners – traders, on the shopping shelves of whose stores a customer can find our products. We always think about the development of our range of products by monitoring interests and wishes of consumers.”
At the moment Lango produces three product groups: salads, pancakes, and sandwiches. The enterprise produces classical pancakes with meat, which have been already included in the list of Latvian most recognised products for two years, since the very beginning of its activity; and this year is the 10th year of this product availability in the market. The inclusion of this product in the assortment was determined by consumers’ demand and traditions, existing in the market. Classical sandwich with chicken is a relatively new product that is being produced since 2005 and has won all consumers’ trust. It is important that no additional preservatives are used in the production of Lango products; and to extend product realization term the enterprise uses special packing technology.

Founded in 1992 by local businessmen, Lango is a leading producer of prepared and instant food products. The enterprise acts according to the principle “Just in time”, which means that a client, having ordered products, receives them next day after the order; along with it the consumer can be sure of product high quality. Due to investments in amount of 2,3 million lats, the enterprise has established a new production unit, pursuant to legislation and European Union's standards, and introduced innovative technologies that allow producing products, having extended realization term without adding preservatives, harmful for health. The enterprise produces salads, pancakes, and sandwiches that are arranged in the following groups - everyday product group and classical product group.
